Welcome to my Twilight Page ~

I started liking Twilight back when I was a kid :") My parents would rent the movies as soon as they came out on Redbox, and we'd have a family movie night. I remember getting a short haircut to resemble Alice circa 2009, my mom telling me she tried ordering the New Moon DS skin, and also recieving the Twilight board game for Christmas! As an adult, I am really happy the popularity of the saga remainsss. I unironically love the films deeply. Many will critique the films and say they are terrible and laugh at serious parts, but I think they did really well. I would like to see the critics play a vegan vampire seriously xD, I am sure it is easier said then done. I really enjoy the way the wolves were imagined and brought to life as well! Not to mention the soundtracks and color grading!! Linkin Park, Paramore, The Killers, etc... not many modern soundtracks could compete.

Growing up, I only read up until New Moon. I remember not being able to finish because Bella's pain was too intense for my child emotions. I had never felt strong grief the way she did, and it made my chest hurt to read. In my teens years I did lose many I loved, due to death, divorce, breakups, long distance, and isolation. So when I went to reread the whole series as an adult, I was not only able to read all of New Moon, but I could empathize with Bella and it comforted me to read such an accurate portrayal of grief and the depression that fills the holes in your chest. I would read the books at Barnes and Noble with my headphones on and a pistachio latte in hand. The books got me through a long period of sadness.
